Offline Pilates is a classical Pilates studio offering private instruction by appointment only. Founded by Makini Mask, the studio exists for anyone who needs an antidote to the noise. A place to get out of your head and back into your body.

We teach Pilates the way it was originally taught.

Private Sessions

Fifty minutes. One on one. Working through the classical apparatus: reformer, cadillac, chair, barrel, and mat.

Each session is built around where your body is today, what it needs, and where you want to go. We move at your pace. We adjust in real time. We pay attention to the details that get lost in group settings.

This is not a workout to check off your list. It is time to get out of your head and back into your body.

Meet Our Founder

Makini Mask knows what it feels like to live in your head. Cornell undergrad. Wharton MBA. Director at Google. That's why she founded Offline Pilates. A place to get out of your head and back into your body.

Following major surgery in London, she walked into a classical studio looking for rehabilitation. She walked out taller, more aligned, more powerful. She was hooked. She had tried other forms of Pilates over the years, but it was the original method that changed everything.

She completed her comprehensive certification in London and has since visited studios across the US and Europe, studying with some of the best teachers in the industry. She started Offline Pilates to bring the vibrant, rigorous classical culture she discovered in London back home to the Bay Area.

What she loves most about this work is watching clients move without pain, stand taller, and feel at home in their bodies again. At the end of the day, it is all about connection: to your body, your breath, and the inner strength you already have.
